It had been years since we'd taken a lovely cruise in the Thousand Islands while on a summer holiday. When this picture was taken, we were on a mission to capture the beauty of Gananoque for future projects for our Reflections of Ontario series.

While gazing out into the beautiful waters of the St. Lawrence River, it was a treat to see that same cruise ship we had traveled on at one time and right beside it a seadoo a present-day popular water toy. There I sat surrounded by cannons reminded of past wars fought in that very spot, amazing how history had evolved.
