CAROL ANNE DIGUER
Carol Anne works with acrylic paints, which she thoroughly enjoys after having worked with oils over the years. She has had opportunities to study with skilled instructors at the Ottawa School of Art and with community artists to help expand her understanding and practice of painting, sketching, portraiture and various art techniques. She has painted throughout her career in Montreal, Ottawa, and St-Catharines where she is now retired.
Carol Anne continues to learn from and work alongside fellow painters and artists in the picturesque region of Niagara. As an outdoor enthusiast, she finds joy in walks, hikes, painting and sketching landscapes, water, flora, fauna and various scenic views on her travel journeys. She is inspired each and every day.
Her artwork is derived from a passion for nature, landscape and all natural beauty - inspired by outdoor walks, hikes, travel adventures and plein-air opportunities. She enjoys developing works using several layers of paint to create semi-realistic-impressionism, with richly textured artwork, and from a feeling within."
She is an active member of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre Niagara on the Lake), St-Catharines Art Association, Parkway Artists' Guild (Niagara Falls), Queen Street Artists Group, Niagara.
She continues to participate in workshops, outdoor painting endeavours, and is grateful to inspire and be inspired in her life-long learning opportunities.
