Canadian artist Elaine Bryck is a self taught, continually evolving artist with a focus on acrylic painting, geometric pen and ink and mixed media creations and assemblage.
Unconstrained improvisation is her favoured technique. "I like to start with a colour, a simple brush stroke or an unusual shape and see where it takes me". From bold colours and strokes, straight lines, hard edges and geometric shapes, she is experimenting and challenging all styles and forms.
Elaine is an active member of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre, Queen Street Artists Group and Le Galeriste Wearable Art. When she's not busy with visual arts, she enjoys participation in the thriving ukulele community with NOTL Ukesters and Fort Erie Ukes.
Elaine, her husband and two pups reside in Fort Erie, Ontario enjoying a creative retirement in the beautiful Niagara Region of Canada.
